And there are jerks everywhere (just try driving on one of our interstates during rush hour, and you'll see how ugly Atlantans can be), but I've been here for almost 20 years, and my friends are gay, straight, black, white, Chinese, Korean, Hungarian, Christian, Jewish, Atheist, you name it. The best thing you can do is come for a visit, and if you want a more open-minded crowd, look into Decatur, Midtown, and downtown, since those are the areas where you'll also find many from the LGBT community.I don't have a problem with it and most people I hang around, honestly, could care less. I am from the North and have lived both there and on the coasts (NYC and SF). You do you and do what makes you happy regardless of what people think!
